Our victory against Cheadle may have been more convincing, but that isn’t to say that we managed to reach the heights attained in our match. I am not entirely knocking our performance because there was occasionally some great passing and we hit the new goal crossbar so hard at one point, out first team would have been impressed. However, when there isn’t as much pressure on the ball when we have it, we need to watch that we don’t fall into the trap of complacency. J & J recognised the pitfall and after calling a time out midway through the second half, we played with more fluidity than we had since taking the lead, eventually ending clear winners 13 – 0
Goals were much more evenly distributed and therefore Emily K, Harley and Annabel should be credited for adding a goal each to the scoreline.
