The last Sunday in October and the change in clocks meant an extra hour in bed. We were met with a very autumnal scene with the weather damp but not cold. Mellor were straight into their stride and were quickly 3-0 up with goals from Katie H and Annabelle. The dominance continued throughout the half despite some great saves from the Stockport goalie and Mellor had a 10-0 lead at the break.Amelie, Eve and Olivia contributing to the scorers list.

For the 2nd half coach Alex swapped everyone around, but Mellor continued to have plenty of ball and created numerous opportunities and the goals kept coming at regular intervals including Martha, Lara and Jasmine. Any breaks Stockport had were quickly snuffed out by Lucy. The final minute saw a consolation goal for Stockport.

Overall a very efficient team performance with all contributing. Goals from: Katie H 4, Annabelle 3, Amelie 3, Jasmine 1, Lara 1, Martha, Eve and Olivia all 2 each.
