After a rare defeat a few weeks ago in Sheffield (with a much depleted/injured squad) Mellor welcomed Sheffield for the reverse fixture with a full 10 players (no subs but who needs subs!).

The first 3 quarters were very tight with both teams showing skill and full on commitment in a physical but fair encounter. 2-2 at half time and then 4-4 in the 3rd quarter it looked as though the odd goal was going to win the game. However, in the final quarter Mellor upped the tempo, attacked quicker and slicker and the earlier wayward shots were now finding the target as goal after goal came in the final quarter to give Mellor a deserved win even if the final scoreline was flattering on the overall balance of play.
