As the first match in 2013/14 season, the boys got off to a great start. There was lots of positives in a game that we controlled, but didn't quite dominate. The attitude & effort was fantastic, and we clearly wanted to win more than Brooklands. Our defence was excellent, with quick feet and fast decisions, Matt H, Ben S & Oli R looked good! Midfield was strong, winning the majority of face off's. Will M's effort was fantastic and he made a real positive contribution to the team. Attack was slightly out of shape, but mainly due to the lack of outright attackers in the team. Having said that,Will R scored 4 good goals.
