The season continued with a Triangular series against Poynton B & Cheadle at Poynton.

First up was Poynton B resulting in a comfortable win for Mellor with the game finishing Mellor 12 Poynton B 0.

A good performance from the team, who enjoyed the majority of the possession. With the keeper, Will only called into action on only one occasion. This was an opportunity also to bring in the younger players, with a goal and assist from Eddie Jenkins.

The final game was against a strong and powerful Cheadle team. In the first half Cheadle dominated play and Mellor had to come from behind on more than one occasion. Mellor however were more than up for the contest becoming stronger in the second half. The game continued at a frenetic pace. Will was busy in the net pulling off 9 saves keeping Mellor in the game. With 3 minutes on the clock Joe lost his man found some space picking out Nick who calmly converted the opportunity which turned out to be the winning goal. Cheadle finished the game with a flourish, Mellor saved by the post. The final whistle could not come quick enough for the travelling Mellor supporters. Final score Mellor 6 Cheadle 5.
