Centre possession paves way for win

Mellor got of to a good early start scoring the first four goals without reply, with some sensible possession play by the Mellor attack, marshaled by co-captain Matt Marsh.
Man of the Match was Si Burgess who gained the majority of possession from the centres ably assisted by wingmen Tom Hallam and co-captain James Mearns.

Cheadle never got to grips with the pace from midfield of Luke Greasley or power of Ruari Dolan. With the Mellor defence standing firm, superbly led by 'Oggi' Ogden

The team was a great blend of experience and the younger guys all gelling well together.
