This was our second game in a triangular with Norbury and Timperly. Buoyed by their performance in the first match against Norbury, Mellor came on raring to go and it was fantastic to see the younger members of the team - Orlagh, Natalie, Marleigh and Erica much more involved in this game. The girls had clearly been listening to coach Emily’s instructions and showed significant improvements in marking, passing play, creating space in the fan. In addition to goals from Niamh (1) and Katie (1), Amy scored a cracking first goal for the U11s and Evie turned into a goal machine(!) scoring the final 3 (2 with great assists from Niamh). Special thanks to Emily K for being our inspirational coach!
I think we have the makings of a great U11s team!!
