A successful 2014 for 4 Mellor Under 15 girls Sophie Heeds, Emily Noble, Amy Ramsbottom and Aoife Teegan : all were invited to represent the club in an American Lacrosse Exchange Tour. The girls will host an American girl during the summer of 2015 with an exchange visit in the summer of 2016 over to Annapolis, Maryland, USA.
The MetroGirls Lacrosse Club is coordinated by a team of dedicated lacrosse coaches and managers led by Tony and Michelle Malkin. The programme was established in 1996 to strengthen girls lacrosse in the north of England via an exchange programme with lacrosse teams on the east coast of the USA.

Well done to all the girls who were successful.
