It was never going to be easy with 5 of the u18 players away at North and 3 last minute unable to play.
Our starting line up was only 8 players 3 u18 and 5 u15 (a huge thank you to them for saving us).
Captain Alex should have had a step counter on to see how many miles she ran in this game, encouraging her team, shouting positions, defending brilliantly - well done Alex you were a brilliasnt captain today. Also in defence -Aimee Rog in goal Emily N and Antara, Katie W, usually in goal, made a valiant effort and played midfield, well done to them also. Emily B, Sophie and Aoifa also must be exhausted from running the length of the pitch so many times. they tried hard throughout but Brooklands were just not as tired (they had subs) and they passed the ball with ease. Final score 7 -1 Brooklands.
